About the Blog

Our aim initially was to document our move from London and our first year in Spain. We didn’t know how long we would stay in Spain but it became clear right from the outset that this was a place where we wanted to remain and explore for quite some time.

Having taken the plunge and become residents we have faced many of the challenges that moving to a new country presents, and we have tried, through this blog, to share the many thrills, frustrations, joys and problems that we have experienced.  In doing so, we hope to help others who are thinking of making the same move.

We love exploring, discovering hidden spots, immersing ourselves in traditions and cultures, and try to capture every moment through photography and the written word in order to give the best possible insights into this beautiful country.

If you are thinking of visiting Andalucia and would like our recommendations for places to visit, restaurants to try, walks to take, then we would love to hear from you and help if we can. Also if you are thinking of making the move yourself we would be happy to impart helpful tips that will make your move easier. Or maybe you have suggestions for us?!

Feedback and comments on our blog posts are always very welcome
